One part writer, one part photographer, a couple parts crazy (in a fun way,) and all parts Canadian, Martha is a life-loving, moment-seizing, 20-something girl born and raised on the cusp of the Rocky Mountains and Canadian Prairies. She lives in a cute little house in a trendy neighbourhood with her two cats and affable partner Amor. She drives too fast, listens to her music too loud, drinks too much (sometimes) and can never seem to get enough celebrity gossip. She’s been blogging for a living for over two years now, but struggles to carve out time to blog for herself. So if she disappears for a while, don’t hate her.
She’s into yoga, fitness, photography (obv.) and bad British television. She hardly ever cries at movies, but the well-written word and the sight of airplanes taking off gets her every time. She is a fervent traveller, and rest assured that if she’s not currently on a trip, she’s plotting her next one. She has good friends. She is brave. She laughs every day. She loves her life, and herself.
While she does get paid to take pictures, this site isn’t about showing off her mad skillz or anything. Rather, it’s about telling a story, even if the photo is a bit blurry or the grammar is a bit off. Because if she was one of those people who insisted on being perfect all the time, she would not have as much fun as she does.
This is her truth.
